SubSounds EP 2023 is the second release of its kind from the new strand of the Youth Music Collective based in Tallaght, Dublin. The SubSounds EP course is a song-writing and recording course that caters for individuals who are new to SubSounds, it is a smaller group with a maximum of 16 participants, that runs for 16 weeks from the beginning of November 2021.

This record features more outstanding new songs from a new generation of Irish musicians - pock-rock, to delicate indie pop ballads, jazzy summer, to heavy metal & rock. The album was recorded in a series of "live" sessions in CONTACT Studio in Rua Red, Tallaght, engineered by SubSounds Mentor Hugh O'Dwyer.
